Titled Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
Previously of 4th Avenue Caloundra, Craig Thomson is Oceanside Physio’s resident Titled Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, bringing more than 30 years of experience across all aspects of physiotherapy, including sports injuries and general musculoskeletal conditions.
Craig has a particular interest in neck and spinal conditions, including problems associated with headaches, dizziness and vertigo. He takes a thorough approach to these often-complex presentations, with a focus on identifying the underlying cause rather than simply treating the symptoms.
Originally trained in New Zealand, Craig takes a careful and considered approach to assessment. He believes that getting the diagnosis right is the foundation of effective treatment and uses differential diagnosis to establish the true nature of the problem.
Once the diagnosis is clear, Craig combines an “old school” hands-on approach with appropriate exercise and rehabilitation, while incorporating the latest evidence-based techniques and developments in physiotherapy.
His goal is simple: to achieve meaningful results in the shortest practical timeframe, while giving every patient the knowledge and tools they need to maintain their progress.
For Craig, physiotherapy is not just a business. It is a meaningful career and a profession to which he remains deeply committed. After more than three decades in practice, he continues to take pride in providing personal, thorough and results-focused care to every person he treats.
